Simone Olivero is a Toronto-based writer and editor specializing in lifestyle editorial including travel, home décor, beauty and food. Her work has been published in print and online publications like Toronto Life, Chatelaine, The Toronto Star, CBC Travel, Yahoo! Canada and more. She was previously a senior editor at Today’s Parent and is currently the managing editor at House & Home.

In addition to her editorial work, Simone has created custom content for a range of corporate and lifestyle clients including the National Ballet of Canada, Grey Goose and EOS.

Simone holds a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature & Culture from Western University and a post-graduate diploma in Secondary Education from La Trobe University in Australia.

When she's not writing, Simone can often be found pursuing her other passion, travel. Born with a natural wanderlust, she boarded her first plane before she could walk and has been crisscrossing the globe ever since. She loves nothing more than learning a new language, immersing herself in different cultures and taking photos of her feet as she explores each new place they take her.
